Horse care

I started riding when I was 4 years old (that’s a long time ago) and have owned horses for over 20 years. Whilst I no longer ride, I help care for my partner’s mare, Millie. I’ve owned some flighty thoroughbreds as well as cob types, so I’m happy to look after any type of horse or pony.

Much as we all love our horses, they can be a bit of a tie. So, whether you’re going on holiday, for a day out, weekend away or just want a lie in, I can offer equine care to suit you. This can be as a one-off or for a few days. I offer two packages as shown on the rates page; services may be added/removed subject to discussion.

What can be included:
  • Bring in/turn out
  • Picking out feet
  • Check/change rugs
  • General health check
  • Muck out
  • Feed
  • Check fences/water
  • Pick field
  • Text updates if required
  • Visits will be made before 11am and after 3pm, 7 days a week
  • All equipment must be supplied by the client
  • Bank Holidays will incur additional charges; please see the rates page for details
